Pricing

The costs of all programs are quoted in Canadian funds only. Payment may be made by cash, cheque, money order, Visa, MasterCard, or bank draft in Canadian funds payable to Loyola House. Should we receive payment in US currency, either by cash or cheque, a 10% surcharge will be added to your retreat to cover our conversion costs. Our fees help with the maintenance and preservation of our trails and our farm, now a certified organic operation. The fees for all directed retreats include room and board, daily sessions with a spiritual director, daily liturgy, all required materials, and access to the land of Ignatius Jesuit Centre of Guelph.

Financial Assistance Information

As an independent retreat house, Loyola House has very limited resources. It depends for its survival on what it takes in with its programs and with the generosity of its benefactors. At this time, there are no grants available. We would ask that, if you are considering a program, retreat, or workshop at Loyola House, please make sure you have the resources necessary to enter into what is being offered.

Spirituality in Work Series with Chris Lowney
Spirituality in Work Series with Chris Lowney
Loyola House is delighted to sponsor a new series which will focus on how to connect our deepest held beliefs to everyday life. The lectures and workshops will assist participants in integrating the values they treasure into the fast paced life of today.

The Inaugural event will be an evening lecture followed by an all-day workshop presented by renowned author and lecturer Chris Lowney. Formerly a Jesuit seminarian for seven years, Chris joined J. P. Morgan & Co., a company regularly ranked by Fortune magazine as one of "America's Most Admired Companies". Chris was named a Managing Director in this company while still in his thirties. He accumulated multinational experiences while working for that company. Chris now writes and travels internationally to share his vision of life with others.

In his lecture, 'Heroic Living', Chris will guide the participants to a deeper realization of how they can integrate the values they treasure while living in the ordinary homes and work places of our world. The all-day workshop will focus on the vital skills that can lead to integration of life at home and at work with beliefs, values, and actions. Chris will provide some practical models needed for one to adapt to an ever-changing world.
